Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins from the Kansas 2nd District congratulates Mrs. Michael Clowser at her husband's Assumption of Responsibility ceremony 21 Jul. Command Sgt. Maj. Michael Clowser assumed the duties of Combined Arms Center Leader Development and Education Command Sergeant Major. Prior to this assignment, Command Sgt. Maj. Clowser had been the senior NCO with 12th Aviation Brigade and had deployed with that unit to Afghanistan.

Lt. Gen. Robert Brown addresses U.S. Army captains at the U.S. Army’s Solarium 2014. Solarium is an Army chief of staff (CSA) initiative, to inform and shape the future direction of the U.S. Army. This effort brings together 100 senior captains from across the Army - active, reserve and guard - to U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command's Combined Arms Center at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, from July 9-11, 2014. Brig. Gen. Joseph M. Martin (left) hands an Assumption of Responsibility certificate to SGM Richard K. Johnson. SGM Johnson is the Combined Arms Center - Training's top non-commissioned officer. Brig. Gen. Martin is CAC-T's deputy commanding general. He said SGM Johnson will play a critical role in CAC-T's training support and training development missions. SGM Johnson said he looked forward to helping CAC-T advance Army readiness.

Brown, Commanding General of the Combined Arms Center and Fort Leavenworth, addresses a crowd of more than 300 attendees at the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery as part of the Fort Leavenworth Memorial Day Ceremony, 26 May.
