As professionals, we all must have the courage to act decisively in the face of sexual assault and sexual harassment. August 19, 2020 Virtual Professional Forum Dr. Roy Nafarrete is President of Change the Culture, LLC, a consulting company specializing in primary prevention of destructive behaviors. Roy is also a former lecturer in management at Walden University, and a 28 year Navy veteran, serving as a Human Resources Officer for Special Operations, the Naval Aviation community, Navy Recruiting and the Chief of Naval Operations. In 2014, he transferred to his final job in the Navy as Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Officer for Commander, Pacific Fleet (COMPACFLT).

Dr. Wendy L. Patrick is a career trial attorney, recognized by her peers as one of the Top Ten criminal attorneys in San Diego presented at the Army SHARP Academy Professional Forum on 4 February 2020. Dr. Patrick provided the attendees insight on the individual duties in preventing and responding to sexual assault, myths about sex crimes and predators, the understanding of the offender/victim relationship and the recognition of problem behavior.

Mr. Mike Domitrz is the founder of Center for Respect and presented at the Army SHARP Academy Professional Forum on 29 October 2019. Mr. Domitrz provided the attendees an understanding of Male Sexual Assault, the transformation of a culture, respect in the workplace and “What to Do” rather than “What Not to Do.”
