The Army recently introduced a new version of its premier training manual to help leaders from sergeants to generals improve their unit's readiness. "Train to Win in a Complex World" is the title of the new Field Manual 7-0. FM 7-0 explains Army training strategies and new initiatives for assessing Army training readiness. More than 25 Fort Leonard Wood company command teams attended a resilience seminar in Lincoln Hall Auditorium Sept. 28, where they had the opportunity to ask questions to a panel of six people who had experience in handling suicide... "Everybody (on the panel) is here today because they have a unique experience tied to suicide," said Lt. Col. The Command and General Staff College inducted three international graduates who have led their country's army or defense forces into its International Hall of Fame on Oct. 6 at the Lewis and Clark Center. The induction brings to 266 the number of leaders who have been honored in the Hall of Fame from the nearly 8,000 international officers who have graduated from the college. The honorees included General Volker Wieker of Germany, Brigadier General Igor Gorgan of Moldova, and Brigadier General Mark Anthony Phillips of Guyana. Click the photo above to read more.

Kem was promoted on October 3, 2016 at the Lewis and Clark Center, Fort Leavenworth, KS and given the oath of office by Commanding General; U.S. Army Combined Arms Center (CAC); and Fort Leavenworth; Lt. The purpose of the visit was to expose local business leaders to Fort Leavenworth, the Special Operations community and its rich history.
