Brig. Gen. Eugene J. LeBoeuf, Ph.D., P.E., BCEE, deputy commanding general of the U.S. Army Combined Arms Center and executive vice provost for Academic Affairs of Army University, led seven new Fort Leavenworth employees in the Civilian Oath of Office. The new employees will fill vital positions at Munson Army Health Center, The Army University, U.S. Army National Simulation Center, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and TRADOC Intelligence Support Activity (TRISA).

The U.S. Army Command and General Staff College hosted roughly 40 Leadership Kansas delegates to a senior leader welcome, tour and education-focused panel discussion on Army Leadership/Mission Command at Fort Leavenworth Friday, June 24. Jim Fain, director for the International Student Division, gives a staff delegation from Kansas Senator Jerry Moran's office a tour of the Lewis and Clark Building. The delegation enjoyed a complete post tour - including the Frontier Army Museum and the Buffalo Soldier Monument - which was followed by a leadership development discussion led by Kirby Brown, deputy to the commanding general of U.S. Army Combined Arms Center, and Col. Chris Croft, director of the Center for Army Leadership. A delegation of congressional staffers received a brief from Col. Geoffrey Catlett, director of the U.S. Army SHARP Academy today. Staffers in attendance were Baruch Humble with Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins office, Catherine Ross with Sen. Jerry Moran's team, Victoria Warmouth with the U.S. Army Congressional Budget Liaison Office (SAFM-BUL), Ryan Canfield with Congressman Harold Rogers office, and A.J. Relihan from Congressman Mike Pompeo's team. The briefing highlighted the Army's commitment to greatly reducing sexual assault and harassment.
