Mission Command Center of Excellence welcomed Brigadier Angus Watson, head of Warfare Development, British Army, and members of his team for an annual information and collaborative exchange between counterparts. During their visit, Brig Watson shared an overview of the Land Warfare Centre with directors and representatives from MCCoE subordinate organizations.

Chris Glenn, branch chief for the Mission Command Digital Master Gunner Course, recently completed the Leadership Excellence and Executive Coaching Course from Academy Leadership in Kansas City. This concentrated three-day program is designed for all levels of management to equip attendees with new skills and provide a contemporary perspective on leadership.

The Combined Arms Doctrine Directorate (CADD) hosted its annual Doctrine Developers Forum Nov. 6-7 at Fort Leavenworth’s Marshall Auditorium. The event brought together more than 50 doctrine writers from across the Army to plan and synchronize efforts for the coming year. This forum also provides an opportunity for the CADD staff to update proponents and Centers of Excellence on developing trends and upcoming changes in Army doctrine and helps to establish priorities for future efforts. The 2019 Doctrine Developers Forum will be held in late October 2019 and is open to all individuals with an interest or responsibility in writing and developing Army doctrinal publications.
