Mission Command Center of Excellence Director Maj. Gen. Doug Crissman welcomes Maj. Gen. Moti Baruch, Head of Command and Control School, Israel Defense Forces, as part of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command-led Future Battlefield Annual Talks, May 13. Although TRADOC's relationship with the IDF began in 1973 following the Yom Kippur War, the FBAT was formally initiated in 1988 as an annual event conducted alternately between locations in the U.S. and Israel. In addition to developing and strengthening personal and professional relationships, counterpart visits focus on common challenges shared between armies, lessons learned from current operations, and future land warfare concepts. Students from Knowledge Management Qualification Course Class 19-05 hold up coins commemorating their graduation in the 50th course iteration with the 1000th student at Fort Leavenworth April 12. The Knowledge Management Qualification Course focuses on teaching students how to assess, formulate, and implement solutions to fix knowledge and performance gaps within their units, using the KM process. A CALL mobile training team conducted a Lessons Learned Course for 30 students at Fort Meade, Md., March 18-20. The course included personnel from U.S. Cyber Command and five Defense agencies.
