More than 1,100 officers graduated from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff Officer Course on the Fort Leavenworth Parade Field June 15. The graduating class includes mid-career officers from all American military services as well as 119 international officers representing 91 countries and 24 federal government civilian employees.

Efflandt, the Army University Provost and CAC Deputy Commandant, Command and General Staff College, present the CGSC International Graduate Badge to Netherlands Major Rene Berendsen, the International Military Student Chief of Staff. A total of 119 international students representing 91 countries received their badges on June 14th.

Congratulations to the Army's newest SHARP Academy-trained Sexual Assault Response Coordinators and Victim Advocates. The 29 graduates of Class 18-005 will now join their units around the Army to support victims as well as set conditions to help prevent sexual assault and sexual harassment within our Army.

CAC and Fort Leavenworth Commanding General Lt. Gen. Michael Lundy presided over a Leavenworth Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony May 30 in the Eisenhower Auditorium of the Lewis and Clark Center. Retired General William S. Wallace and deceased Gen. Walton Walker were the honorees. Of Gen. Walton Walker, who was represented at the ceremony by his son, Col. Walton "Buck" Walker, Lt. Gen. Lundy said, "he was in the Army at a time of change and he led that change." Regarding Gen. Wallace, a former CAC and TRADOC Commander, Lt. Gen. Lundy said, "Today we still feel the positive impact he's had across doctrine, training, and leader development and education." Click the photo to read more.

Members of the official party prepare to congratulate 158 graduates of the U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies, May 24 in the Eisenhower Auditorium of the Lewis and Clark Center. The graduates include 14 international officers from 10 countries and seven federal civilian employees representing four federal agencies. The official party included (left to right) Dr. Robert Bauman, Col. James Markert, Dr. James Martin, Brig. Gen. Scott Efflandt, Lt. Gen. Michael Lundy, and Maj. Gen. James F. Pasquarette. Maj. Gen.
