Commanding General of United States Army Training and Doctrine Command, Gen. Paul E. Funk II, takes a moment in front of the Lewis and Clark Center at Fort Leavenworth to present coins to the eight team leads of four Tiger Teams (forty officers total) who were asked to look at ways to decrease the burdens and requirements facing company-level command teams. The teams were made up of CGSOC students who were assembled at the request of Gen. Funk and Gen. Michael X. Garrett, commander of U.S. Army Forces Command. They worked from mid-January to early May during their off time to provide recommendations. Receiving coins are: Maj. Michael Evan Roderick and Maj. Scott Schultz (Team 1); Maj. Gary Bostic and Maj. Michael Piccini (Team 2); Cpt. (P) Zach Rozar and Maj. Brian Thorson (Team 3); Maj. Eric Norgard and Maj. Edward Hughes (Team 4).
