TC 3- 01.86 is used to develop and test the proficiency of individuals, crews, and battery personnel in Patriot gunnery tasks. It references current crew drills, collective tasks, unit task list (Patriot), and technical manuals identifying the tasks and subtasks performed by individuals, fire platoon (FP) crews, battalion crews and air defense artillery fire control officer (ADAFCO) crews for gunnery certification. The target audiences for this publication are commanders, trainers, evaluators, leaders, and Soldiers assigned to Patriot units at the brigade level and below.
