LTG Lundy Attends January 2017 ASWOC

U.S. Army Combined Arms Center Commander Lt. Gen. Michael Lundy participated in a conversation with command chief warrant officers and senior warrant officers from around the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve and Army National Guard at an Army Senior Warrant Officer Council (ASWOC) Meeting on Fort Leavenworth January 17 through 19. The ASWOC serves as a senior leadership body to introduce, review, and address relevant issues concerning Army systems, policies, and programs that are designed to produce ready and relevant warrant officers who are competent in executing the Army mission within their roles as Soldiers, officers, leaders, technicians, and systems integrators. The council provides United States Department of the Army level integration and synchronization, and advice to Army leadership for cohort related issues. This specific council meeting related mainly address the four lines of effort in the Warrant Officer 2025 Strategy and the 26 specific tasks as outlined in HQ DA EXORD 196-16. The group meets four times annually, twice in person and twice via teleconference.
