Combined Arms Center and Fort Leavenworth Commanding General Lt. Gen. Michael Lundy presents the Commanders Award for Civilian Service to Amy Blankenship during a ceremony in the CAC G-8 Resource Management division reception area Dec. 12. Blankenship, supervisor of the CAC G-8 travel support section, and six other civilians were presented with the Commanders Award for Civilian Service and two Solders received the Army Achievement Medal during the ceremony for saving CAC and the Army more than $790,000 in travel related claims last year. The other awardees were Tammy Potter, Pam Gilbert, Melissa Storie, Julianne Parton, Stephanie Davis, Myrdin Joslin, Staff Sgt. Trina McLoud and Pfc. Brett Nicodemus.
