Mr. Jon Casey, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) special monitoring mission to Ukraine, monitoring team Luhansk, Ukraine was the keynote speaker on Jan. 12, 2018 at the Lewis and Clark Center, Fort Leavenworth, KS. The event, First-Hand Observations from the Russian-Ukrainian Border, put on by Army Culture, Regional Expertise & Language Management Office (CRELMO) jointly with the OSCE and Command and General Staff College (CGSC) was opened by Brig. Gen. Scott Efflandt, Deputy Commandant, CGSC & Provost, Army University.

CALL conducted a Lessons Learned Training Contact Team engagement at the Jordanian Center for Strategic Studies and Lessons Learned (JCSSLL) in Jordan, 7-9 January 2018. The team met with the new JCSSLL director, MG Mukhlid al-Zyood, and principal staff officers to provide briefings on CALL and the Army Lessons Learned Program, facilitate discussions on administering a LL program, and assist with collection planning for the Eager Lion exercise being held in April. This event was part of a long-standing partnership between the two organizations that began in 2010 and seeks to increase cooperation and interoperability between the JAF and the U.S. Army.

The Command and General Staff College helped celebrate with the National Guard on its birthday on Dec. 13, 2017 at the Lewis and Clark Center on Fort Leavenworth, KS. The National Guard’s 381st birthday celebration was honored with remarks by Brig. Gen.
