Gen. David Perkins, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command commander, gave the final remarks at the Enhanced Engagement Training Conference, which took place at the Lewis and Clark Center on Fort Leavenworth, Kan., Wednesday, Sept. 9 and Thursday Sept. 10. The event brought together many of the Department of the Army’s senior most leaders in an effort to craft reasonable solutions to address issues facing the Army’s modern civilian workforce.
