Threat Awareness and Reporting Program (TARP) Training, per AR 381-12
•AR 381-12 directs all DA personnel receive TARP training annually. DA personnel include Active Duty, Reserve and National Guard members, DA civilians, and DA contractors.
•KCRA will provide TARP training and Insider Threat Indicators training as directed by Army Chief of Staff (ALARACT 322/2009) to units and individuals within KCRA’s area of responsibility when scheduled adequately in advance.
•Training will be conducted by qualified CI personnel. Commands that lack organic CI assets may arrange for training to be conducted by supporting CI offices.
•Face-to-Face, in-person briefing provided by a Counterintelligence Special Agent is the PREFERRED method to allow the training to be interactive and responsive to specific questions and unique situations. However, for DA personnel where live training is not possible or reasonably feasible, the TARP training may be conducted online via the Army Learning Management System website.

Special Threat-Awareness Training
KCRA will provide special threat-awareness training to DA personnel who may be especially vulnerable to exploitation by foreign intelligence or international terrorism by virtue of their position, skills, and/or responsibilities:
•Personnel scheduled to travel to high threat locations
•Persons involved in research and development of critical technology
•Personnel participating in scientific, technical, engineering, or other professional meetings, conferences, or symposia
