The U.S. Army Combined Arms Command has established the Transformation Integration Directorate, a new organization that will help the Army integrate change across the force by connecting operational experience with institutional action. Created as part of the Army's transformation under the U.S. Army Transformation and Training Command, the directorate provides command-level integration across multiple warfighting functions and organizations. 

Army Software Factory noncommissioned officers marked a milestone in their careers as they became Software Operations warrant officers, graduating from Warrant Officer Candidate School at Fort Rucker, Ala., June 10. The 280A Software Operations Technician is the Army’s newest functional area.

This article, co-authored by several CAPL team members, is published by the Joint Special Operations University Press. In it, the authors explain how the Battle of Little Bighorn endures as a study in the timeless principles of irregular conflict, where mastery of the physical, human, and information dimensions outweighs technological advantage. It serves as a vivid reminder that success in irregular warfare requires adaptability as a vital factor to Special Operations Forces operational achievement.
