Doctrine audiobooks can be downloaded from the Central Army Registry (CAR) at https://rdl.train.army.mil/catalog/#/search?search_terms=audiobook. Audiobooks are produced from authenticated doctrine, but are abridged for the audiobook format and considered a doctrine supplement. Since fiscal year 2019, CADD has developed more than 90 doctrine audiobooks for the Army. The audiobook format is considered for manuals with sufficient shelf-life, broad appeal to the force, and interest shown by number of publication downloads.
