Doctrine Development Tool speeds process
Capt. David Predmore, program manager, Production and Support Division, Combined Arms Doctrine Directorate, enters information into the Army Doctrine Development Tool, March 26, 2026, Fort Leavenworth, Kan. The ADDT is the Army’s web‑based system for reviewing and staffing doctrine. By automating comment submission and adjudication, the tool streamlines coordination across the force and improves the speed, transparency and consistency of the doctrine development process. Predmore and 12 other students from across the Combined Arms Command enterprise participated in the week-long Doctrine Developers’ Course, an offering led by CADD’s PSD six times per year to train new doctrine authors. Topics included use of the ADDT, as well as emerging technologies like generative artificial intelligence. (U.S. Army photo by Randi Stenson, MCCoE Public Affairs)
