Mission Command Network Integration (MCNI) - Army Capability Manager (ACM) Mission Command/Command Post


Mission Command Network Integration (MCNI) plans, coordinates, synchronizes, and manages key activities pertaining to the ‘science’ aspects of mission command and the network, ensuring integrated DOTMLPF across doctrine, education, force modernization, lessons learned, and training efforts.



ACM MC/CP, representing the Commanding General (CG), TRADOC and reporting through the Director, MC Capability Development Integration Directorate and the Director, MC Center of Excellence, acts as TRADOC's centralized manager for MC/CP capability development activities. ACM MC/CP develops and manages doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, facilities and policy (DOTMLPF-P) solution sets in support of the Army's MC/CP programs. ACM MC/CP executes this mission by coordinating capabilities and materiel development activities to ensure all DOTMLPF-P areas are integrated and synchronized to support fielding and operational requirements for the Warfighter.

ACM MC/CP is the TRADOC user representative for the MC/CP capabilities listed below. As such, the ACM is responsible for all ACM responsibilities and tasks outlined in TRADOC Regulation (TR) 71-12, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command Capability Management and TR 71-20, Concept Development, Capabilities Determination and Capabilities Integration.

ACM MC/CP coordinates with capability developers, materiel developers, test and evaluation personnel, Army command units with assigned MC/CPs, and Department of the Army and joint staffs on issues influencing the organization, fielding, deployment, and sustainment of MC/CP. The ACM must incorporate procedures ensuring that manpower and personnel integration (MANPRINT) considerations are properly addressed, and that MANPRINT issues and concerns are documented and tracked in appropriate program documentation.

  • Command Post Computing Environment (CP CE)
  • Integration and synchronization of all Command Post capabilities to include Command Post Integrated Infrastructure (CPI2) (ACM-MC/CP supports)
