Combined Arms Center Commander LTG Robert B. Brown addresses representatives from TRADOC centers and schools, and others at a Fort Leavenworth conference. Attendees discussed ways of improve the Army’s training and education process, called the Training and Education – Enterprise (TED-E). TED-E guides the training and education development process to produce products for the Operational Force and the Army’s learning institutions. The April conference concluded by presenting Brown with suggestions about making TED-E more efficient and effective in its support to Army readiness.

The display traced Army training from World War II to today's virtual training. Reporters from WAAY-TV and C4ISR&Networks prepared stories about the Army using virtual technology to improve training.

The Army Training Network (ATN) recently restructured the Army Training Newsletter into a quarterly format to provide the Army with a more focused delivery. The first edition of Army Training Quarterly is at: https://atn.army.mil/media/dat/atq/. It has a new feature - Ask-A-Trainer - to highlight frequently asked questions. The newsletter wants to hear from the force. It welcomes articles about training management challenges, successes and innovations.

Combined Arms Center Commanding General Lt. Gen. Robert B. Brown (left) presents an Assumption of Responsibility certificate to Brig. Gen. Mark J. O’Neil, the new deputy commanding general of the Combined Arms Center - Training. Brown hosted the ceremony at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., on March 27. Brown welcomed O’Neil to the CAC team, saying O’Neil is a “first-round draft choice and we’re lucky to have him.” O’Neil said it was an honor to be the CAC-T deputy commanding general. CAC-T manages training support, training development and Combat Training Center programs to help the Army prepare versatile units and develop innovative leaders.
