Accreditation Overview

Accreditation is based on meeting specific standards to improve educational programs and student learning through critical evaluation of the school's performance and provides specific recommendations for continuous process and program improvement.

Our participation is to ensure we provide high quality programs and services from development to implementation of current, relevant education and training to meet leader competency needs throughout the Army.

Current Accreditation

AMSC is currently accredited by two institutions: the Training and Doctrine Command Quality Assurance Program and the International Association for Continuing Education and Training / American National Standards Institute.

US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) includes as assessment of our courses based on doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, and facilities domain (DOTMLPF) standards led by the Quality Assurance (QA) Office. The TRADOC QA Program is a service organization chartered to promote high standards to enhance Army combat readiness through internal and external evaluations, conferences, consulting services, and assistance.

International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET)

The Army Management Staff College (AMSC) is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). AMSC complies with the ANSI/IACET Standard, which is recognized internationally as a standard of excellence in instructional practices. As a result of this accreditation, AMSC is authorized to issue the IACET CEU.
