Col. John Kent, commander of Munson Army Health Center, conducted the Civilian Oath of Office for 11 new Fort Leavenworth employees today. The new hires will add support to Munson Army Health Center (Dr. Eric Gardner, Leslie Joyner, Justin Smith, Efrem Winder and Jennifer Green), U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command Analysis Center (Benjamin Anom), Directorate of Emergency Services (Edward Dewey), Command and General Staff College (Andrew Dietz, Eric Schact) and Fort Huachuca (John Reedy, Timothy Herndon).

The ELITE-SHARP Command Team Trainer is an interactive video game to train leaders how to respond to sexual assault and sexual harassment cases. Chief Warrant Officer 4 (Ret.) Daniel Jones, of the U.S. Army 361st Aviation Company, was awarded a Silver Star on Tuesday, March 8, at the Presidio of Monterey by Congressman Sam Farr. Jones, along with Retired Col. William Reeder Jr. - both Army helicopter pilots during the Vietnam War - were presented with the third highest award exclusively for combat valor by Congressman Sam Farr.
