IO Qualification Course (RC)

DESCRIPTION

The Information Operations Qualification Course (IOQC) Reserve Component (RC) is a 9 month, 2 phase course taught by the National Guard Information Operations School, 3-124th Information Operations (IO) Battalion, Vermont Army National Guard. Phase 1 is 415 hours of study including 28 four-hour synchronous class periods (UTAs) held once per week over an FOUO approved collaborative meeting system with fellow students and instructors. Students can expect a workload similar to an online master’s degree program including asynchronous learning activities, presentations, papers, readings, practical exercises, and tests. Phase 1 requires a significant time commitment beyond the 96 hours of collaborative online learning. Phase 2 is a 15 day (13 days of instruction plus 2 travel days) resident exercise held at the Regional Readiness Training Center collocated with Norwich University in Northfield, VT.

PREREQUISITES

BILLETING

The student will secure hotel reservations within driving distance of the Regional Readiness Training Institute Center, 161 University Drive, Northfield, VT. After hours commercial internet access will be required to maintain participation in the course. There are physical fitness facilities available for student use at the RRTC and for a small fee on the University campus.

ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES
