Tactical IO Planner Course (TIOPC)

DESCRIPTION

The Tactical IO Planner Course (TIOPC) consists of a combination of distance learning and 1 week resident instruction. The course prepares students to conduct tactical IO planning, execution and assessment. All IO elements and activities are addressed, focusing on the synchronization and coordination of Operational Security (OPSEC), Military Information Support Operations (MISO), Military Deception (MILDEC), Electronic Warfare (EW), Physical Destruction, Public Affairs (PA), and Civil Military Operations (CMO). Graduates earn the additional skill identifier (ASI) P4.


PREREQUISITES

Active Army, Army Reserve or Army National Guard commissioned officer (LT – LTC), warrant officer (W1 – W5) or non-commissioned officer (SGT – MSG).

Completion of Information Operations 101 distance learning course.
