Action Officer Development Course (AODC)


This is a mandatory distance learning course that provides foundational information prior to your attendance at your branch school WOAC.


The Action Officer Development Course (1-250-AODC) was adopted as the resource for this distance learning course and is now completed through the Army Learning Management System (ALMS). The ADOC provides basic knowledge, techniques, roles, and tasks to successfully navigate and coordinate staff actions for their organization. The scope of the course is to examine AO functions; problem-solving; time management; effective communications (oral and written); and military briefing techniques.

  6. In the Course block, type in 1-250-AODC (DL) 7. "Click apply"
