The information in this bulletin is a snapshot of the Army conducting large-scale combat operations. MCTP’s observations are primarily written by a collaborative group of experienced officers, noncommissioned officers, and chief warrant officers working in conjunction with our highly qualified expert-senior mentors. MCTP uses several avenues to facilitate shared understanding of Warfighter Exercise (WFX) experiences to educate not just those units preparing for WFXs, but the total Army. Beginning in FY21, the MCTP WFX key observations will be published semiannually by CALL. The new publications will be more portable, pocket-sized books and will remain packed with current and relevant observations.

Deputy Commanding General Combined Arms Center-Education Brig. Gen. Donn Hill and Army University Command Sgt. Maj. Anthony Rice visited the Combined Arms Center-Training headquarters building to meet with Deputy Commander CAC-T Col. Charles Lombardo and other CAC-T leadership July 23, 2020. Lombardo took responsibility of CAC-T July 1, Hill and Rice took responsibility of Army University July 2 so the two leadership teams met for the first time to discuss what CAC-T does for Army training. “I think there are a lot of areas we can converge on in terms of leader development and collective training,” Lombardo told Hill as they began the meeting. Mission Command Training Program Commander Col. Col. Shane Morgan, Commander of Mission Command Training Program (right), introduces this week's Hero of TRADOC, Maj. Jason Wolfe to TRADOC Commander, Gen. Paul E. Funk, II Via VTC. The MCTP Observer, Coach, Trainer was driving to post when he came across a single vehicle rollover accident where he witnessed a 20-year-old female ejected through the front windshield of her car. Maj. Wolfe immediately took action, providing first aid by applying pressure dressings from his personal first aid kit in his vehicle while keeping the victim stable, preventing shock, and comforting her until paramedics arrived.
