Col. Shane Morgan, Commander of Mission Command Training Program (right), introduces this week's Hero of TRADOC, Maj. Jason Wolfe to TRADOC Commander, Gen. Paul E. Funk, II Via VTC. The MCTP Observer, Coach, Trainer was driving to post when he came across a single vehicle rollover accident where he witnessed a 20-year-old female ejected through the front windshield of her car. Maj. Wolfe immediately took action, providing first aid by applying pressure dressings from his personal first aid kit in his vehicle while keeping the victim stable, preventing shock, and comforting her until paramedics arrived.

During the 108th Sustainment Brigade's MCT week on 14-18 August 2017, Mr. Van Noah of the University of North Carolina leads the unit in a Distribution Management Exercise. Lt. Col. Todd Alston, Deputy Chief of Operations Group (DCOG), of Operations Group Sierra facilitated the exercise, which is an experiential learning business simulation created by faculty at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in early 1960s to demonstrate the principles of supply chain management. A debriefing session of roughly equivalent length typically follows to review the results of each team and discuss the lessons involved.

Vibrant Response 2017 is a training exercise designed to enhance coordination and communication at the operational and tactical levels between Department of Defense and Civilian Incident Commands during Defense Support of Civil Authorities in a major disaster.

​Lt. Col. Steven Dubuc from Mission Command Training Program’s Operations Group Bravo mentors Capt. Stephen Keblish, a human resources officer with New York’s National Guard 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade, as part of MCTP’s warfighter 17-2 in November. Multiple units from Army active duty, National Guard and the Army reserves participated in the warfighter.
