International Partnerships and Visits

CRELMO Program Manager, Dr. Mahir Ibrahimov, has been requested (in-person) to provide assistance with the Kazakhstan Delegation Visit on 20 and 21 June, 2016.

COL(P) Timur Abishev, Chief, Combat Training Department, Kazakhstan (KAZ) General Staff (equivalent to Joint Staff, J7) (center, right), was hosted by Mr. David Paschal, Acting Deputy, G-37 Training (center, left), TRADOC.

The Kazakh delegation was comprised of senior officers from the General Staff, Land Forces Command, Air Defense Forces Command, and Naval Forces Command.

During the visit, TRADOC staff provided the delegation with key information about best practices and principles of national-level training and training management structures, relationships, authorities, andprocesses. The Kazakhstan Ministry of Defense is considering the development of an organization within the Kazakhstan military to provide national-level unified guidance and direction to training and education within the Kazakh joint force.

Their vision is that of a "Joint TRADOC" that would improve their Army's capabilities and interoperability with the US Army.
