Military Documents and Publications
CARL's military documents collection is comprised of select current and historical publications and information issued by the Department of the Army, the Department of Defense, and other government agencies. The library is in the process of cataloging the publicly distributed collection to be searchable by the library catalog.
Military publications are Army publications that include but are not limited to General Orders, Regulations, Field Manuals, Technical Manuals, Tables of Organization and Equipment, and other, similar documents. They represent the Army's official orders, doctrine, guidance and practice in effect at specific points of history. CARL has a significant collection of both current and historic publications. Many obsolete military manuals can be found in CARL's Digital Library collection.
