Instructor/Facilitator

Classroom Support Personnel (CSP)

Basic Lecture

  • Instructor Presentation System (IPS) with one or two monitors
  • Single source display capability
  • One or more display devices (non-touch display or projector/screen)
Instructor-centric and designed to engage an average of 24 students in a technology-delivered, blended training and edu-cation experiences. These classrooms contain a dual display, IPS capable of multi-source routing to multiple destinations, as desired by the instructor. The AV system includes audio distribution to the entire classroom and supports optional equipment, as identified by the Government.

Standard Lecture

Basic lecture capabilities with the addition of the following capability or devices:
  • Multiple source display capability
  • Two display devices (touch display or projector/screen)

Enhanced Lecture

Standard lecture capabilities with the addition of:
  • Enhanced video devices (touch display, projector/screen, VTC)
  • Enhanced audio devices (may include microphone capability)
Enhanced Lecture (Auditoriums): ECP supports auditoriums in support of POI events. These events include guest speaker visits, graduations, etc. Support to these rooms is equivalent to Enhanced Lecture Classrooms.

Collaborative

  • IPS with enhanced control/display capabilities
  • Configurable seating supports student-centric collabo-rative instruction (U-shape, or 4-6 student pods)
  • Multiple source display capability
  • Single or multiple touch primary display device (s)
  • May include multiple non-touch displays for small group work
  • May include VTC capability, if required by the POI
  • Utilizes wired or wireless capability, when available and/or required by POI
Designed to support functional and leader training in a more collaborative problem solving environment . The design is able to be networked in support of collective training events and exercises. The classroom contains one (1) primary instruc-tional display and four (4) student group displays.


Simulation

  • IPS with enhanced control and multiple monitors
  • Multiple source display capability
  • Single or multiple touch display or projector/screen
  • Devices that enable use of simulation and/or 3D content
  • Utilizes wired or wireless capability, when availa-ble and/or required by POI
Support operationally fielded systems (Mission Command, Virtual, and Gaming). The simulation classrooms vary in con-figuration and capability based on the fielded systems it sup-ports; Designed for avg. 16 students.

About Us

Mission

The Enterprise Classroom Program (ECP) ensures classroom technology, support, sustainment, governance, and oversight to enable the Army’s training and education mission.

Key Tasks

  • Centrally manage and execute the program, from classroom concept development to validation of classroom technology requirements, design, engineering, installation, property accountability, and sustainment, in support of approved instructional methodologies.
  • Implement cost efficient and effective capabilities that are interoperable, scalable, compatible, sustainable, and standardized.
  • Provide the capability to access network infrastructure.
  • Research and evaluate emerging educational technology.
  • Maintain classroom and device Mission Essential Requirements for Commandant approved POIs and command directed initiatives in supported CoEs/Schools.
  • Coordinate with CAC G-8 to plan, program, budget, and execute resources.
