Two books written by faculty at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC) have been added to the Chief of Staff of the Army's 2017 Professional Reading List. The publications are “Concrete Hell: Urban Warfare From Stalingrad to Iraq” by Dr. Louis Di Marco and “Combat Ready?: The Eighth U.S. Army on the Eve of the Korean War” by Dr. Tom Hanson. These works are representative of the CGSC faculty's expertise in the military profession and underscore the importance of the professional military education Command and General Staff Officers' Course (CGSOC) graduates receive while assigned to Fort Leavenworth and the U.S. Army Combined Arms Center.
