George C. Marshall Awards and Forum
Gen. David G. Perkins, Commander of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, addresses 300 ROTC and Military Academy Cadets from around the country as part of the George C. Marshall Awards and Leadership Forum at Fort Leavenworth. The two-day event is an opportunity for the Army to recognize the outstanding Cadets of the year and gives them the opportunity to hear from some of the Army's top leadership. 2015 marks the first year that this event is hosted at Fort Leavenworth. In addition to awards Cadets will participate in roundtable discussions, a series of plenary sessions, and engagements by some of the Army’s top leadership. The purpose of the event is to inspire future army leaders to embody the timeless values of selfless service, character, ethics, leadership and citizenship of Gen. George C. Marshall.
