Network, Simulation, and Technology Integration

The GSC Network is a DISA-based architecture using the Army's operational network to provide a persistent and consistent distributed training and exercise capability. Establishing this network is a coordinated effort between the National Simulation Center, 7th Signal Command, and local Network Enterprise Centers at Army Active Component installations.

The GSC network will allow multiple units and training enablers at different locations to effectively exchange data and information by leveraging existing communication networks and systems. This will be an integral part of the Integrated Training Environment. By providing a consistent and persistent network capability, the GSC Network will significantly reduces exercise network costs and increases flexibility to Commanders.
