Military History Instruction Support Team

  1. Conduct the two-week Military History Instructor Course (MHIC) for ROTC cadre and other Army and DoD personnel with a requirement to teach military history
  2. Act as executive agent for the US Army Center of Military History regarding award of the Army Historian Additional Skill Identifier 5X, Army Field Historian
  3. Serve as course author and primary instructor for the CGSS Elective A625, Army Field Historian
  4. Conduct programmatic inspections of all TRADOC centers’ and schools’ military history instruction curriculum to ensure compliance with guidance issued by the Commander, TRADOC, in TRADOC Regulation 870-1.
