ISAF Deputy Chief of Staff addresses CGSC students from Afghanistan
The Command and General Staff College hosted a video teleconference (VTC) on 19 February with MG Michael S. Tucker, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan.  MG Tucker previously served as the Commander of 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from March 2001 to July 2003. He also served as both the Assistant Division Commander (Maneuver) and the Assistant Division Commander (Support) for the 1st Armored Division from August 2004 to July 2006.
This VTC with an operational field command highlights the College's commitment to integrating current field operations with lessons being taught in the classroom.  The ability to leverage operational updates and combine this with curriculum is the hallmark of a cutting edge educational system.
