1-43rd ADA (P)

Definition/Scope: Part of the 11th ADA BDE, 32d Army Air & Missile Defense Command. The 11th ADA Brigade is a combat ready unit consisting of a Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, four air defense artillery battalions, two transportation companies, a signal company, and the Army's very first terminal high altitude area defense regiment. Established 25 Janurary 1907 as a Coastal Artillery Corps and after numerous inactivations and reactivations they are, as of Dec 2008, located at Ft Bliss.
