598th Transportation Group

Definition/Scope: The mission of the 598th Transportation Group (598th TG) is to plan, enable, and execute common-user expeditionary port (SPOE-SPOD) and surface distribution-based operation within the USEUCOM/USAFRICOM areas of responsibility to seamlessly move and deliver combat power and Department of Defense cargo required to assure strategic depth and advantage across the full spectrum of conflict and to be prepared to deploy globally and conduct/enable port (SPOE/SPOD) and distribution operations.
