Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Warner Robins

Definition/Scope: (DLA) Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution Warner Robins, Ga., distributes supplies to all branches of the military at locations all around the world. More than half the work completed at the distribution center is in support of the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center. The organization’s $12 billion inventory includes parts and equipment for F-15, C-130, C-5 and C-17 aircraft, target acquisition systems, and most airborne electronic warfare systems. As a result of the most recent round of Base Realignment and Closure, the organization will expand its services to become one of four strategic distribution platforms operated by DLA Distribution. DLA Distribution Warner Robins, Ga., is expected to be fully operational as an SDP in 2011. At that time, the distribution center will provide storage and distribution support to military customers and other DLA Distribution locations in the southeastern U.S.
