Ministry of Transportation

Definition/Scope: A Ministry of Transportation is a government position that is responsible for a countries transportation system. Some countries include the infrastructure within their transportation ministry while others are only concerned about the actual transportation of goods across a system of avenues whether it is a road, river, train, or airplane. The United States uses a system of "Departments" versus "Ministry".
