all-source production section

Definition/Scope: (FM 6-20-30) The all-source production section (ASPS) at corps and division command post’s (CPs) and the electronic warfare section (EWS) perform the initial electronic preparation of the battlefield (EPB) in support of the G2's intelligence preparation of the battlefield (IPB) effort for the attack. The initial EPB is passed to the military intelligence (MI) unit technical control and analysis element (TCAE). This element expands the EPB and correlates it with technical data, to include call signs and frequencies.
