Operation Iron Bullet

Definition/Scope: In July 2003, Charlie Battery of 1st Armored Divison launched Operation Iron Bullet. Operation Iron Bullet was designed to collect dangerous ordinance in Baghdad and transport it out of the city where it could be safely handled or destroyed. This included rockets, mortars and other unexploded munitions.
