Definition/Scope: (JP 1-0) The processing centers at selected Army installations through which individual personnel will be processed to ensure that soldier readiness processing actions have been completed prior to reporting to the aerial port of embarkation for deployment to a theater of operations. (This term and its definition modify the existing term “continental United States replacement center” and its definition and are approved for inclusion in the next edition of JP 1-02.)
