Definition/Scope: United States Marine Corps Forces Europe (also known as USMARFOREUR), headquartered in Panzerkaserne-Barracks in Böblingen, Germany, is the U.S. Marine Corps component of the U.S. European Command. MARFOREUR also performs duty with Marine Corps Forces, Africa. The fighting unit of USMARFOREUR is parts of the II Marine Expeditionary Force.
