criterion

Definition/Scope: The minimum acceptable level of performance associated with a particular measure of task performance. It is often expressed as hours, days, percent, occurrences, minutes, miles, or some other command-stated measure. It is the accepted standard used in making a decision or judgement. Quick fact: criterion is singular while criteria is plural, do not use criterias.
