fixed-site security
Definition/Scope: Fixed-site security is those forces normally assigned to entry control points or access control points. Some examples will be Military Police responding to an incident at an ECP/ACP. Fixed-site generally referred to as permanent bases. In addition to having armed/unarmed forces, the security also includes measures such as emplacing barriers, lighting and electronic security systems. The basic characteristics of an integrated system include deterrence, detection, defense and defeat.
