Route Reconnaisance/Clearance Operations - Sapper
Definition/Scope: The purpose of this course is to provide Sappers that are deploying to OIF/OEF, with the individual and collective knowledge and skills required to conduct Route Reconnaissance/Clearance Course (R2C2) operations. Students will be taught employment of a robotic platform for Explosive Device detection and possible neutralization. Neutralization is based on the commander's decision process, as outlined in FM-3-90.119 (Combined Arms Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Operations).
