P-3 Orion

Definition/Scope: A four-engine, turboprop, all-weather, long-range, land-based antisubmarine aircraft. It is capable of carrying a varied assortment of search radar, nuclear depth charges, and homing torpedoes. It can be used for search, patrol, hunter-killer, and convoy escort operations. Designated as P-3. Electronic attack version is designated as EP-3.
