Operational Test Command
Definition/Scope: (OTC.ARMY.MIL) U.S. Army Operational Test Command plans, conducts, and reports rigorous operational tests, assessments, and experiments in order to provide essential information for the acquisition and fielding of Warfighting systems. On its 30th anniversary, TEXCOM was re-designated as U.S. Army Operational Test Command (OTC), a major subordinate command of U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), Alexandria, Virginia.
