Definition/Scope: (NETCOM) U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command plans, engineers, installs, integrates, protects, defends and operates Army Cyberspace, enabling Mission Command through all phases of Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental and Multinational operations. The Command operates, maintains and defends the Global Network Enterprise to enable information superiority and freedom of access to the network in all phases of Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental and Multinational operations. OLD VERSION Army?s single authority for information management; A C4 service-based organization that provides centralized technical control over all functions associated with network operations, management, and defense.
