monopulse radar
Definition/Scope: A radar system which derives all its information from a single pulse. It obtains sufficient information from each transmitted pulse to update its computers and re-position its antenna. Instead of scanning a single beam, the radar uses a minimum of four beams which transmit together but receive independently.
