Definition/Scope: Jump aid stations (BAS and JAS) have the same treatment capabilities. Also sometimes called the FAS -- forward aid station, the other half of the medical treatment teams. Each aid station can provide the same level of care. Use Battalion Aid Station. FM 4-02.1
